City will travel to the United States for two pre-season friendlies in preparation for the 2022/23 season. This will be our first international friendly in over two calendar years due to COVID restrictions.
City will meet BBVA MX in their first pre-season game at NRG Stadium on Wednesday, July 20, at 7:30pm CZT.
The second game of the pre-season tour in the US will be announced next week.
Tickets for the Club América game will be on sale to the public starting April 28. Fans can find information about tickets and the match at www.lsse.net/copadelonestar.
Season ticket holders, Cityzens members, and members of official support clubs will be emailed to them with exclusive pre-sale links to purchase tickets before they go on public sale.
TV broadcast information will be announced at a later time.
This will mark Manchester City’s return to the NRG Stadium after facing Manchester United on July 20, 2017 in Manchester’s first overseas derby.
