What’s surprising about Donald’s deal is that he hasn’t broken into the top ten in any of these categories despite his dominance since entering the league. Donald has been linked with JJ Watt and Lawrence Taylor with Defensive Player of the Year in NFL history (three times) and has won the Pro Bowl eight times and was an All-Pro first team pick seven times (played only eight seasons).

Donald only tracks Taylor (10) and Derek Thomas (nine) for most consecutive Pro Bowl picks to start a career, while leading the NFL in sacks (98), loss tackles (150), and quarterback hits (226) since entering the league in 2014. Add a Super title Paul and Donald got his first ballot to the Hall of Fame.

Donald has the most sacks ever with a defensive tackle after his first eight seasons and the fourth-highest number of players in NFL history in that span, which is actually unbelievable, he “only” makes $3,166,667 annually. Still in the prime of his career, there is an argument Donald must actually make Paid.
