Odell Beckham broke up the wedding of Sean McVeigh and Veronica Gomen

It looks like Odell Beckham channeled Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson at Sean McVay’s wedding this weekend.

During Monday’s appearance on the “I’m Athlete” podcast, the Rams coach revealed that the free-agent wide receiver — who won the Super Bowl with Los Angeles in February — broke his big day with wife Veronica Khomen on Saturday.

“So probably the most stressful thing about this wedding was figuring out, well, how you can get the guest list right where you don’t have any kind of interruptions or, you know, anybody whose feelings get hurt unnecessarily because you’re fine with guys.” McVeigh explained the wedding planning process.

Although McVeigh has a “terrific relationship” with Beckham, the 36-year-old chose to invite captains only last year, as well as other retired players with whom he deals amicably. But as McVeigh soon learned Beckham was attending – invite or not.

“Only in Odell’s style could he be the smasher at our wedding,” McVeigh said of the 29-year-old receiver, who is working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in the Rams’ Super Bowl win.

“So he showed up, wrecked the wedding and I loved that he was there. Even my mom, she said, ‘Oh, he’s so cute and he’s personally handsome too,'” he continued.

While McVay was definitely in party mode at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday night, Beckham’s potential future with the Rams wasn’t far from the coach’s mind.

“I said, ‘You crash the wedding, and you re-sign the rams, man,” McVeigh said, noting that Beckham was “looking great” on the dance floor.

The Rams have previously expressed their desire to welcome Beckham back into the fold, but as general manager Les Snead said in March, “It’s a little more complicated with the injury situation.”

Beckham originally joined the Rams on a one-year deal in November after his release from Brown.

Throughout the free agency period, the Rams signed former Bears future Allen Robinson and traded Robert Woods extensively with the Titans. Elsewhere, they reinstated Aaron Donald’s contract on Monday, giving the passing superstar a whopping $40 million raise through 2024.
