Titans first-round pick Treylon Burks recently said that “everyone is going to have setbacks” as they make their way into the NFL and she revealed one of those Burks will have to deal with in the early days of his professional career path.
Borks had to leave his first practice early and missed another time during the team’s program as well, including Tuesday’s training. Titans coach Mike Frabel wouldn’t say what’s stopping Pierce from playing, but wide reception coach Rob Moore said at his special briefing session that asthma contributed to the BRICS’ problems this spring.
It’s unfortunate,” Moore said, via ESPN.com’s Toron Davenport. “Some of the things he deals with are out of his control. The kid has asthma.”
The Burks were acquired with a first-round pick that the Titans got from the Eagles for AJ Brown, so he joined the team with the expectation that he would move straight into the lineup. Moore said that Burks “understands the expectations” and that he remains excited about what a novice can do once they can “get healthy”. Given the role Birx is set to play, the sooner that happens the better in Tennessee.
