Oxford, Ms. – The Ole Miss will host a viewing party on Saturday and Sunday for the NCAA Hattiesburg Super Regional at Oxford University Stadium/Sweezy Field, announced Wednesday.
Having captured the Coral Gables Regional Championship, the Rebels are set to face their state opponent, the Southern Miss, with a trip to the College World Series Championship on the line. The first pitches are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. local time, while Monday’s game if needed is TBD.
Fans in attendance will be able to watch the broadcast of the ball game on the video board at Swayze Stadium. Saturday’s game will be broadcast on ESPNU, while Sunday’s second game will be on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Gates will open at Swayze Stadium at 2:30pm for the observation party on both days. Entry is free and parking will be opened around the stadium. Premium areas around the stadium will not be unlocked.
The stadium concession areas will not be open and no food or drinks will be served. However, fans are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to the viewing party and coolers are allowed.
