Giant RB Saquon Barkley is out to prove he’s still an outstanding player – Big Blue View

Which NFL Players Will Raise Their Level in ’22? CeeDee Lamb, Pat Surtain and Jalen Hurts top trusty risers –

Andrew Thomas New York Giants OT The No. 4 public pick of the 2020 draft began his career like a turnstile on the New York City subway station. In a rough rookie season, Thomas gave up 10 sacks and 57 presses as counted by Pro Football Focus. But he bounced back in 2021, cutting those numbers down to two bags and 18 compressions. And I think he’s ready to make big strides under this new regime of giants. Brian Dabol is a great attacking mind who has put together a really solid coaching staff. He will get the most out of the left intervention. Will Thomas rise to the billing as the first tackle from the board in a draft that also included Tristan Wirfs, who just took home an All-Pro first team honor? Would no one ever make fun of him for picking him twice before Justin Herbert? Mostly not. But under Daboll’s watchful eye, he’ll continue to round into shape as a solid start on the blind side. I guarantee it.

Golden Tate: New York Giants meticulously manage quarterback Daniel Jones a lot –

Golden Tate thinks Daniel Jones has often moderated the Daniel Jones play. “(Jones) has had all the tools to succeed for a long time…. I feel like when I was there, we caught up trying to tell him the decisions to make instead of letting him play,” Tate said.

New York Giants LB Micah McFadden Drafting: No. 146 Fifth Round Impressive stats to know: 15.5 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, and three pass breaks at Indiana in 2021 McFadden was a fun film to study. It moves quickly and effortlessly in any direction, which makes it a snap to cover, especially on the bottom. He reads and reacts to the group’s offensive moves as fast as any quarterback in the class can, and while he’s not blessed with the terrible sport, McFadden rarely seems slow. The Giants have needed a quality linebacker for quite some time now, and McFadden has “outperformed a draft site” written on it.
