We are just a few minutes from our Game 2 starting point in Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning! This Stanley Cup Final will look to continue living up to the hype after its dramatic first game.
It will take an additional 1:23 of extra time to determine the outcome of the first game as Andrei Burakovsky will win the Avs home snowboard game. His team was 3-1 ahead before scoring two goals in a row in 48 seconds, so Avs will be looking to clean it up and be better for the full 60 minutes, if not more.
We’ll likely see Andrew Cogliano enter the squad. He has been fully involved in practice and has a chance to be on the team for the first time in this series. Meanwhile, Nazem Qadri may be available for games 3 and 4 because he was running lightly with a stick.
