Recently, the former coach of Williams’ sister, Rick McKee, was on a Spotify podcast where the host asked him about Earl Woods’ comments. Notably, the legendary golfer’s father has accused Richard of enjoying the limelight his daughters got. “He’s too involved in a lot of interviews. I’ve taken a step back from letting Tiger shine in the spotlight.” Woods said.

In response to the question, Macci admitted that Richard loved the spotlight, but it’s not a fair comparison because he was raising girls and was just protecting them.

“Yeah, Richard loved the spotlight, but it’s a little different with the girls. You know, I think there was a lot of protection. Richard Williams was a great dad.
