In celebration of the tennis association between the two, in 2018, Nike released an announcement for Serena at the US Open, a perfect tribute to the legendary father on Father’s Day.

Celebrating the bond of Serena Williams and King Richard

The commercial was released in 2018, and features a handful of Serena Williams’ campaigns at the US Open in years past. However, what sets the ad apart from others is the use of 9-year-old Serena Williams’ home video with her father. Their video clip reportedly dates back to August 1991.
