Lisa Rinna Criticizes ‘RHOBH’ For Giving Mom’s Death ‘An Episode’
Lisa Rinna slammed “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for honoring her late mother, Lois DeAndrade Rinna, with just one episode earlier this season.
The reality star, 59, wrote that she ‘had a grace episode’ and ‘that’s it’ in a Sunday Instagram post. “Lois deserved and deserves so much more,” she added. “Shame on everyone.”
Lisa’s post was accompanied by a message from the Pink Pop Box podcast which featured a photo of her posing with Lois and the following text: “I’m shocked we spent 3 episodes on the dark word but only a few scenes shown about real human grief. .”
The anonymous podcast host, an avid ‘RHOBH’ viewer, was referring to Crystal Kung Minkoff’s previous on-camera claim that co-star Sutton Stracke made a ‘dark’ comment about the race last year . Kung Minkoff’s allegation was never verified and this drama has since fizzled out.
The show is currently obsessed with Erika Jayne’s alcoholic behavior.
Lois died after suffering a stroke in November 2021 as the cameras for “Beverly Hills” were rolling. Lisa’s lively mum – who had made frequent appearances on reality TV for years – was 93.
“5:05 a.m. heaven has a new angel,” the former soap actress announced on Instagram alongside a photo of Lois on her wedding day.
Lisa’s youngest daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, also paid tribute to her grandmother by sharing snapshots of Lois over the years.
“My guardian angel for the rest of time,” the 21-year-old model, who Lisa shares with husband Harry Hamlin, wrote on Instagram. “I love you so much my Lolo…you were and always will be more than a grandmother to me…you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything.”
Amelia noted that Lois joined her late husband, Frank Rinna, who died in January 2016.
“And just like that…you’re back with Frank,” she added. “I know they’re throwing a party for you…and you’re dancing through heaven…you’ll never leave… ‘I did it my way…’ ‘Me too.'”
