Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti suggest they kissed after Jay Split
Cue it Hilary Duf. Kristin Cavallari and Stephane Colletti officially launched their Laguna Beach review the trip – but the hottest tea they spilled came down a bit more recently than high school.
“We kinda lost touch with each other when I was married. I was with my ex for 10 years,” the 35-year-old Uncommon James creator said, referring to her ex-husband. cutler jay, Tuesday, July 19, episode of the “Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen” podcast. “So it had been at least 10 years since we had seen each other. Anyway, we went to dinner, we had a lot of fun. Are we telling the whole story?
While Colletti, 36, noted the pair were “dancing on tables” during the August 2020 reunion, Cavallari hinted that more had happened.
“We may or may not have kissed,” she said.
The A tree hill alum replied, “We did it?”
“I don’t remember,” Cavallari said. “I posted a photo of the two of us. And it was my most liked photo of anything I’ve ever posted on Instagram. I mean, you would beat all my kids. You would pass any stage of my life. So to me, that’s actually really nice because it shows how invested the audience was in Laguna Beach. And I think that’s really cute.
The Hills alum again hinted that something happened between them when she added, “I’ll let you decide if you want to tell the rest of the story or not.”
Colletti then changed the subject to return to the Instagram photo, which he said blew up his phone for days.
“Everyone was coming out of the carpentry to ask me – there were people kinda asking me how I was doing, people were texting me just to check me in. And they finally tried to switch to a way laid back like, ‘So, are you dating anyone?’” he recalled. “And it was so obvious. I was shocked at how many people thought I was that stupid.
Colletti and Cavallari originally dated in high school, documenting their rocky romance on seasons 1 and 2 of MTV Laguna Beach in 2004 and 2005. She married Cutler, 39, in 2013, and hinted more than once during Tuesday’s episode that the former NFL player was the reason she wasn’t not kept in touch with Colletti over the years.
“When I was married, we didn’t keep in touch as much. … It was my fault,” she said. “I am able to maintain friendships with my exes. But yeah, that’s all I’m going to say. I think that’s a big reason why, when I got divorced, you and I were able to reconnect — because I was a free woman.
Cavallari and Cutler, who share sons Camden, 9, and Jaxon, 8, and daughter Saylor, 6, split in 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. While the former NFL player claimed he “thrown a party” when the divorce settlement was reached earlier this year, the pair have yet to finalize their divorce.
“Everything is fine,” Cavallari said We of co-parenting in June, noting that she was not dating anyone at the moment. “When there’s someone serious enough to talk about it, I’ll probably be – hopefully – the first to post a picture or something, but you know, I’m having fun.”
