Festie Besties – What We Know So Far – Big Brother Network

Even before Big Brother’s new twist arrived, the night was busy on BB24’s live streams as guests reacted to the summer’s first eviction and the change in power of the head of household. We also managed to get some info from BB24 guests on how this week’s Besties Twist is going to play out on Big Brother 24. Read on to find out what we know!

If you recall, Julie hinted at a new twist that was going to be introduced to the game in her interview with Us Weekly last week. Julie gave us very minimal information about this twist, but mentioned that the guests would be paired up. After watching Big Brother’s live streams throughout the night, we know who these pairs are. Here is a list:

• Turner & Jasmine
• Joseph & Monte
• Daniel and Kyle
• Indy and Alyssa
• Michael & Brittany
• Amira and Terrance
• Nicole & Taylor

As we also know, Turner is the householder this week and according to the HGs, that means Jasmine will be safe this week as she is his best friend. As we can see from the list of pairings, all members of the Poe’s Pack alliance (Monte, Kyle, Alyssa, Michael, Ameerah, and Nicole) are matched with people outside of their alliance. This was strategically maneuvered so that there was no chance of them not being together.

The guests also confirmed that the veto power will also be played in pairs and only one token will be removed from the box. The name of the chosen person and her best friend will join Turner, Jasmine and the pair nominated in the Veto contest. If one of the nominees wins this week’s Power of Veto contest, this Bestie pair is safe from blocking and expulsion. This means that Turner will then have to put a new set of Besties on the block during the veto ceremony.

The last thing we know about this twist has to do with the expulsion coming Thursday night. There will be some kind of power given to the candidate who survives the block and stays in the house.

One thing that remains unclear is how long this twist will last. There has been speculation, but I expect we won’t know that detail until Sunday night’s episode airs.
