Inside ‘Virgin River’ star Alexandra Breckenridge’s wedding to Casey Hooper

When watching Netflix Virgin Riverit’s hard to realize that the actors who play Mel and Jack aren’t together in real life – Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson are just SO good at acting and have amazing chemistry.

But Virgin River fans will be happy to know that Alexandra has been happily married since 2015, and it appears her real-life relationship is far less dramatic than the one on screen.

Alexandra, who also played Sophie on NBC It’s usis married to Katy Perry guitarist Casey Hooper. Casey is also a member of the SurfMaster group and was featured in the Katy Perry documentary Katy Perry – Part of Me.

The couple met years ago at a party after the Grammys when they both lived in California. At the time, Alexandra was pursuing her acting career and getting roles in shows including american horror story and The Walking Dead. Casey was nearing the end of a world tour with pop star Katy Perry.

The couple hit it off immediately and eventually had an intimate wedding in Dunton Springs, Colorado on September 13, 2015.

A year after their wedding, the couple welcomed their first son, Jack (the name is a little ironic, isn’t it), and 15 short months later, their daughter Billie was born. The family of four moved from the City of Angels to a quieter family life in a two-story house in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.

“Rural Georgia has an incredible sense of community that we lacked in Los Angeles,” Alexandra said. Atlanta Magazine in 2019. Outside of Atlanta (aka South Hollywood), the couple are still able to pursue their entertainment careers while prioritizing family time and a slower pace of life they couldn’t find at Los Angeles.

So what about Martin Henderson’s relationship status? Well, it’s a bit complicated. The 47-year-old New Zealander has never been married.

He had a long-term relationship with Mexican Instagram influencer Aisha Mendez. However, the two recently unfollowed on Instagram and deleted several of their photos together on social media. This leads us to believe that the couple recently broke up, that is, if we read the cryptic social media clues correctly.
