Watch fans rebel after weather forces Kid Rock to cancel show
Mother Nature is apparently not a fan of Kid Rock. The “All Summer Long” rap-rocker had a scheduled appearance at the North Dakota State Fair on Friday night, but after a series of heavy storms were seen around the area, the performance was delayed. Officials then made the decision to pull the plug completely. Fans weren’t too happy, bringing their own thunder while vocally and physically showing their disapproval of the cancellation.
As a fan video shows, people in the crowd were shouting, throwing their hands in the air and throwing objects. And then there was a guy who had the foresight to take the stage himself, where he was quickly tackled by security.

Officials at the North Dakota State Fair said they would refund the cancellation and further explained their rationale, stating, “Due to safety concerns related to high winds, lightning and bad weather in the area, the Kid Rock concert had to be canceled The North Dakota State Fair will refund all ticket purchasers.

Even with the uproar and “lost” fans, Kid Rock probably isn’t fazed by it. As he said not too long ago to Fox News host Tucker Carlson about cancel culture, “I can’t cancel… [cause] I do not care. I’m not in bed with big corporate business. At the end of the day, there’s no one I’m beholden to – no record labels, no corporate interests, nothing at all. You can’t undo me. I love when they try.
