Black Panther’s New Poster Gives Me Serious Chills
In 2018, Marvel’s Black Panther took the world by storm with its gorgeous cinematography, brilliant soundtrack, and gripping storytelling. Now the world is gearing up for the sequel, and fans have just gotten their first look at the movie with a poster and trailer.
There has been a lot of uncertainty about the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie following the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman. However, the enigmatic poster has confirmed that the Black Panther will return – but the question is who will take T’challa’s place? And while we love the official Marvel design, we can’t help but think that one particular fan design might give Marvel a run for its money. If you haven’t caught up with the Black Panther movie yet, be sure to sign up for Disney Plus, where you can watch this and other hero movies.
The new poster features the famous Black Panther mask against a black background, making it particularly haunting. While you can clearly identify the mask, it’s not at all clear which face is underneath, playing the question in every fan’s mind; who is the next Black Panther?
The design is incredibly simplistic yet undeniably powerful. It’s almost like the mask is looking directly at you, like there’s a chance that even you could be the next Black Panther. However, while we love it, there’s a fan design (see below) that also caught our eye.
The design was created and shared by the artist @marvlswolverine via Twitter (opens in a new tab). With a roaring panther head, neon color palette and characters from the movie, the electrifying design exudes action and passion from the movies.
Either way, it’s safe to say that I’m excited for the upcoming Black Panther movie. And with the trailer (opens in a new tab) racking up over 35 million views on Twitter and 18 million on YouTube, it seems like the whole internet feels the same. It won’t be until November 11 for the film to hit theaters, but in the meantime, why not try making your own Black Panther poster?
