The Next 365 Days confirms Laura’s fate after shock cliffhanger
Netflix released the first four minutes of The next 365 daysanswering the question fans have wanted to know ever since 365 days: this dayCliffhanger Shock: Is Laura Dead?
The opening sees Massimo attempting to avoid a gang war after the events of the sequel, as well as seeing him hanging out at a grave. It’s intercut with Olga, Laura’s best friend, getting ready for her wedding, but she doesn’t look too happy about it.
Fans would be right to fear for Laura after these sequences, but the final opening moments show that Massimo isn’t standing at Laura’s grave – it’s actually his twin brother Adriano who died.
Phew.
If you think back to the dramatic end of 365 days: this dayAdriano was shot by Massimo after Laura was shot by his ex-lover Anna, who was also shot by Nacho while trying to protect Laura.
There is no sign of Anna in these opening scenes, so her fate is unclear. We don’t see Laura either, but we assume that’s her on the phone with Massimo at the end, unless Netflix is smartly hiding the fact that she’s also dead.
We doubt it, as Laura and Massimo’s on-off relationship continued to be explored in the third book of the 365 days trilogy. The sequel made some big changes to the original book and we imagine the same will happen in the third movie.

Netflix has also released an official synopsis for the threequel, though it’s light on the actual details. “Laura and Massimo’s relationship hangs in the balance as they try to work through trust issues and jealousy while a tenacious Nacho works to tear them apart,” it read.
At least we don’t have too long to wait to find out how Laura and Massimo’s steamy romance will end.
The next 365 days was released on Netflix on August 19.
