Jim Edmonds reportedly called Teddi Mellencamp Trash in leaked DMs

The battle between the two began last week, when Mellencamp had Jim’s ex-wife, Meghan King, on his Two Ts In A Pod podcast. During the interview, Teddi mentioned she had received a copy of Jim and fiancée Kortnie O’Connor’s wedding invitations in her DMs – and went on to call the couple’s James Bond theme “very squeaky”.

After this exchange made headlines, it seems Jim reached out to Teddi, demanding to know how she got her hands on the invite. Although Edmonds hasn’t publicly commented on the issue, Mellencamp shared his alleged posts on his Instagram Story over the weekend.

“Ooof Jimmy is so mad,” she captioned one of the screenshots, quoting a now-infamous Lisa Rinna/RHOBH moment in the process.

“Did Meghan send you this invitation? Hard to believe that out of the 18 we sent to our close friends, 1 came to you,” the conversation reportedly began. Teddi, however, said the invitation didn’t come from King, who she apparently “blindsided” by bringing up during the interview. Mellencamp said someone emailed him after he posted that King would be on the podcast and asked fans questions.

When he later asked her to “show” him a screenshot of the submission, she said she wouldn’t say who sent it to her. “But I give you my word,” she added, “I’ll gladly have Cortney [sic] on the pod to chat and apologize for showing it.”

“I don’t believe anything that comes out of my exes. [sic] mouth so how should I trust you?” he fired back, again asking for proof that the invite didn’t come from his ex. “And why would she want to come on your podcast after you literally laughed at our so-called wedding invitation that you read completely wrong on air.”

Teddi said she doesn’t want to “fight” with Jim anymore, saying the invite was also shared on someone’s Instagram story for everyone to see. “I can apologize, but that’s where I stop,” she said — before he supposedly replied, “I have some advice for you. Clean your own s- — and stop caring about other people before it comes back to bite you in the ass.”

“I get it. I like it when men text women they don’t know,” she said, before he launched into a series of fiery messages.

“We’re not fighting. I’m calling you now because of the garbage you put on your podcast and your trashy guest that you tried to make fun of someone else trying to have a good life. So , you talking trash about my marriage but you don’t know me? Or my fiancé. That must be pissing you off,” he wrote, according to the screenshots.

“I’m not mad, I feel back for you and your family if this is how you make a living getting kicked off a fake reality show. Have a great shitty life,” he said. continued the conversation. “Do you know what people think of you. It’s sad that you’re trying to bring other people down. I won’t have a good chance of that anymore.”

“Goodbye Jim. You’re welcome for Courtney to come and I’ll apologize to her,” Teddi replied. “That’s where I’m going to leave it.”

The last post she shared was from Jim, who reportedly wrote, “We wouldn’t stoop that low. And that’s Kortnie by the way.”

TooFab has reached out to Jim’s agent for comment. He hasn’t reacted to any of the drama on social media other than sharing Kornie’s Instagram Story showing off the invite. “I’m very excited,” she captioned the post.
