Filming for the highly anticipated fourth season of You resumed last month.

And Penn Badgley, 35, was seen transformed into the terrifying serial killer Joe Goldberg as he shared a kiss with his co-star Charlotte Ritchie, 32, in London on Monday.

The sinister figure appeared to be aiming at another woman as they smooched in the street.

During the scenes, Penn’s character sported a thick beard and bushy haircut, while sporting a pinstriped shirt and pants.

He accessorized with a paisley print tie as his new female interest wore his blazer over his shoulders.

Charlotte’s character Kate donned a 60s-inspired orange mini dress and went barefoot as she carried a pair of metallic skyscraper heels in one hand.

The duo walked down the street next to each other before Joe pulled Kate in for a kiss and placed a white flower behind her ear.

The third season of You ended on a dark and dramatic note as Joe decided to flee his suburban life, killing his girlfriend Love and abandoning their child.

It was reported in March that former EastEnders star Tilly Keeper was among several British soap stars joining the docket for the fourth season of You, which began filming after the third season was hailed by critics last year.

Penn will be joined by Dario Coates, 29, who played Alex Neeson, the son of Kym Marsh’s Michelle Connor on Coronation Street, and Eve Austin, who played Tabitha Taylor-Rudd on Emmerdale.

A TV insider told the publication, “This will come as a huge surprise to the show’s millions of fans around the world, who have become accustomed to the first three seasons based in various locations across the United States.”

“The last thing they would have expected was for the next release to move lock, stock and barrel across the Atlantic and feature a largely British cast.”

Other British additions to the new series would include Ed Speleers, who appeared as Jimmy Kent in Downton Abbey and as Stephen Bonnet in US series Outlander.

The series is based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novels You, Hidden Bodies and You Love Me.

In March, the show’s official Instagram account revealed that season four was officially in production, posting a list of gory movies to mark the new beginning.

‘Feel YOU-4-ic. YOU Season 4 is now in production,’ the caption read.

The first season first aired on the Lifetime network before moving to the Netflix streaming platform.

In the first season, Joe is a bookstore manager who falls in love with a woman and ends up murdering her.

Meanwhile, in the second season, he changes his name to Will Bettelheim and meets a new target of his obsession – a girl named Love, but as fate would have it, she also turns out to be a killer.

The third season follows the couple as they raise their child in the suburbs. But when Joe’s compulsive obsessions resume, he begins to focus his attention on Marienne.

When Love finds out about their relationship, she plans to murder Joe, but he ends up outsmarting her and creating the perfect murder-suicide scenario that leaves him alone and presumed dead.
