Prince William and Kate Middleton wish Meghan Markle a happy 41st birthday
Kate Middleton and Prince William used their Instagram Stories – instead of a grid post – to wish Meghan Markle a happy 41st birthday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 40, shared a photo of the former ‘Suits’ taken during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, writing: “Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!”
The couple posted the same message by Twitter.
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, for their part, tweeted a photo of the same event.
“Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!” the Prince of Wales, 73, and the Duchess of Cornwall, 75, wrote.
The images shared by the two couples were taken earlier this summer when Markle, dressed in Dior, attended the Queen’s Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral with her husband Prince Harry.
The event marked the first time the Duchess of Sussex publicly reunited with the Royal Family in two years.
During the Thanksgiving National Service event, she and Harry visibly sat on opposite sides as brother and sister-in-law to the former military pilot.
Instead, the couple sat with Harry’s cousins, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, and their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
California residents do not appear to interact with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at any time.
As they left the cathedral, the former royals were greeted with both applause and boos from their Megxit.
Palace insiders told Page Six at the time that the sons of Charles and Princess Diana, who have been feuding since Harry’s 2018 marriage to Markle, had no plans to go out while celebrating the 70 years of service from their grandmother.
“At this time, it seems unlikely that Harry and Meghan and William and Kate will meet separately at Jubilee celebrations,” a source said. “There is certainly nothing in the log at the moment.”
Harry and Markle, who share son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 1, left the festivities early, flying out ahead of the Platinum Jubilee pageant.
