Waukee Towne Center will feature high-end amenities such as an 8-acre lake with a fountain, an access trail that joins the 89-mile-long Raccoon River Valley Trail, an amphitheater, restaurants, a seasonal ice-skating rink, and greenery. spaces. “Waukee Towne Center will be a great new development for the Waukee community offering desirable shopping, services, restaurants and entertainment in a uniquely designed setting creating attractive community gathering areas,” Mike Pierson, co-owner with his son Nick Pierson, of Pierson Companies , said in a statement. “When we discussed developing this parcel with the City of Waukee at the beginning of the project, they had a desire to see more than a standard power center.
