Walt Disney, Nike share losses contribute to Dow’s 113-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Monday afternoon with shares of Walt Disney and Nike facing the biggest drops for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.20% was most recently trading 113 points lower (-0.3%), as shares of Walt Disney DIS, -3.45%, and Nike NKE, -2.10% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walt Disney’s shares have dropped $3.35, or 3.7%, while those of Nike have declined $2.26, or 2.1%, combining for an approximately 37-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Microsoft MSFT, -1.48%, IBM IBM, -1.42%, and Apple AAPL, -0.97%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
