Caramelized banana porridge

Start the day satisfied and above all full of energy! For this, we offer you the recipe for porridge with caramelized bananas. Porridge is a preparation made from cereals soaked in milk to which a few toppings are added to provide additional flavors, as here with caramelized bananas!

Ingredients :

For 1 bowl

  • 1 small banana
  • 20 cl vegetable milk (coconut, almond, soy, etc.)
  • 4 to 5 tbsp. oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 C. coconut oil
  • 1 C. teaspoon coconut sugar (or powdered sugar)
  • A few chopped walnuts
  • Cinnamon, vanilla (optional)

Steps :

1. Start by boiling the vegetable milk in a saucepan, then add the oat flakes off the heat. Mix regularly.

2. Add maple syrup and other flavorings if desired before letting the porridge rise.

3. Meanwhile, melt the coconut oil in a pan and add the sugar.

4. Peel and cut your banana in half lengthwise (you can also slice the banana into rings), then brown it flat side down.

5. Arrange your caramelized banana on your bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon and walnuts.

Your caramelized banana porridge is ready to be devoured.
