Roasted peaches

Peaches are a delicious fruit that we find more regularly during the summer. Yellow peaches are slightly sweeter than white peaches, but they are just as tasty. Roasted peaches are a little out of the ordinary and make it possible to offer a hot, gourmet, but also fruity dessert!

Ingredients :

For 4 people

  • 4 peaches
  • 15 g butter (you can opt for salted butter)
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

Steps :

1. To start, peel your peaches if you wish, otherwise simply rinse them. Then cut them in half and remove the core.

2. Melt the butter in a large skillet, then add the sugar.

3. When it is dissolved, place your peaches flat side down in the pan and let caramelize over low heat. Baste from time to time with the juice so that they cook evenly.

4. Cook for about 10 minutes and serve your roasted peaches immediately!

Accompany them with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream to add a little more indulgence to the dessert!
