Sun-dried tomato and olive cake

The sun-dried tomato and olive cake is easy to prepare in addition to being moist and tasty. To take away with friends or to enjoy during an aperitif dinner for example, the savory cake is endlessly declinable! So let your creativity run free and adjust the filling to your liking.

Ingredients :

  • 200g dried tomatoes
  • 180g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 12 cl of milk
  • 6 cl of oil
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 80 g feta (or grated Gruyere cheese)

Steps :

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.

2. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into halves or thirds, then arrange them on absorbent paper. Slice the olives into rings.

3. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder before adding the eggs one by one. Pour in the milk and then the oil and mix until you obtain a smooth paste. Salt, pepper.

4. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and the olives to the batter. Do the same with the chosen cheese.

5. Butter and flour your cake mold and pour your device. Bake for about 40 minutes!

Let your sun-dried tomato and olive cake cool before unmolding and serving it. You can also serve it with a green salad.
